This is so close to home, I borrowed my son's Honda Ruckus to place it
I do not know how easy it will be to find, as it does not look like a typical historical marker. Directly behind the tree is a wall
Directly behind the wall is the orange. He is under a coffee cup lid, with a small stone on top
Located on Ferdinand Ave , less than 5 minutes from downtown Roanoke.
Hope you enjoyed your trek and like the area. I only live a couple miles from the rock house.
Great riding in your neck of the woods. Nice tagging KJH!
This thread just needs a wake up.
I might just use rule # 6 if it does not move by the weekend.
No Mr. Orange. Found lid and a hole. No orange.
He was burried alive. :eek1 I would have hauled ass too.
It seems odd though. :huh
What the heck are you doing down there???
madmaximum probably got there a month ago.
So, I guess if nobody produces a grab and drop with the orange within 48 hours, the tag is yours. Nice effort Tom!
Over that wall is a steep grade. Maybe if a critter was messing around, Orange may be in the river. :eek1
Hey KNOLLINGER! Do you still have the crab?????????????
That's a heck of a grab.
Was the stone still on top of the lid?
no stone. Lid was about a foot away from the hole. I played in your hole for awhile (does that sound bad). I had a bright flash light. I looked. Didn't look real hard over the edge.
Its been well over 48hrs. Orange has not shown hide nor peel. I will
take the liberty of tagging a new spot and new mascot even if its
only a temp.. I will name him Whoo. Whoo is a badge holder. Who is?
Whoo. Here is Whoo's picture. Who? yes Whoo.
Whoo is behind sign, left post.
Good job Tommy. Keep the game going.
The Orange was probably talking when someone was there and wouldn't stop.
They likely kicked him into the river to shut him up.:eek1:eek1
Orange could not talk when I dropped him. I was curious to see what he had to say, but pushing the button would not get him to speak. We have had several very hard intense rains since I dropped Orange, he probably got washed away, or at least uncovered, then was either found or washed over the edge.
