OK so I had a strange request. From time to time I find deals on certain motorcycles. I had a request to find a motorcycle that looks like you would be riding a giant nipple.

    So IHF here ya go:jive

That's typical of a freakin' KTM rider :loco.... always worried about a little road-holding weight....

Hey everyone, just wanted to point out that we had to change the date of this due to turkey hunting season! The event thread title will hopefully be updated soon (gotta find who can change it).

Hope you can still make it, and hope maybe some that couldn't can now.

it was like rolling the dirt bike off the trailer to find a flat tire.

That is one of the best/worst things about IHF's house.

If it does snow, you are pretty much stuck there.

just mounted a Shinko 705 on my GS 1200, took it to Bloodworth for Balance, While there I compared it to a K60, the K60 had about 3/16" more tread than the 705, also the k60 had 1/4" wider gap between lugs making it much more of an off road tire than the 705, although I think they both say 80-20 on the net. Bottom line if you can afford it get the K60. The 705 did balance up really good and I feel confident that it will be a good get-you-by tire for the money.

    Lets ride this Sat. :ear

Not sure on my schedule yet, and my 705s are getting a bit thin, but I may be in, especially if it's nothing crazy.

I might actually have new tires before then (244), but not sure I'll have them mounted.

I just got new tires & an IMS 6.6 gal. tank for Godzilla. Went with the Heidenau K-60 Scout rear & Dunlop D606 front. Only been off road briefly & like what I fealt but, I NEED to get out & do some real testing just to make sure it's not all in my head.

Looks good! I really like that tank, was considering getting the $85 radiator crash bars that go underneath the tank, but I think I'll probably hold out and get this tank instead. The tank seems to offer a bit more protection for the radiator than the bars do anyway.

I think I finally got my luggage situation figured out, have a set of side racks en-route right now, and by the time MidTn@LBL.ride happens, I should have my new side bags and top bag setup all figured out and in place.

I'll be in if I can swing the time. Where are you guys thinkin' of riding at?

There's a fair amount for me left to explore around the Erin area, plenty of gravel in Stewart Co,, maybe SS would like to continue our exploration of the Bakersville Bottoms down in Humphreys Co? That could also drop us into Perry Co.

So many roads.....lots of gravel found in Benton and Decatur counties too. Lots of gravel in the Natchez Trace State Park.
