Webb smoked everyone, made it look like he was out for dual sport ride. Brown hung in there, but retired with 3 laps to go in the final. He was running in lead group and handling everything that was thrown at him, but I think age is starting to catch up with him. Some 20 year old kid came down from Quebec and won Saturday, than ran up front with the pros on Sunday. Iron Man.:huh

It was OK I guess --- kind-of a let down.
We ride like that all the time
kind-of like a regular ole woods ride if you ask me

Man, I wish I had gone down (but it was nice to have lunch with my mom who was in from Indiana). Can't believe how wet it was, but definitely looked cooler than last year.

Just a reminder, I am doing a boot order with Forma. 1 pair is going to DR.Z, by hook or by crook. Pm for price, as this is a limited time "bro" deal. Disclaimer: I have a pair and have been pleased with them as an adventure boot. Spent all day at the TKO hiking all around and puttering on pit bikes and it was like having slippers on. And they have survived the Hickman county splash test as well as at least one torrential down pour. Fall is only a few weeks away.
You can look at the boots here:http://www.formabootsusa.com/products/offroad-motorcycle-boots/adventure-detail

Anyone got an extra KLR650 (Gen 1) fork top cap? Not exactly sure what happened (something popped after I had screwed it down about 4 turns), but I am in need of one. No one stocks them, and they want $68+shipping for them.

Is the fork tube stripped on the inside? (I am assuming it is the fork cap, not something else.) Maybe call Joe at Cool Springs.

No, fortunately, the cap is softer and only it is screwed up. I took the other cap and actually finished assembling it without any problem, so I only need the cap.

I'll give Joe a call tomorrow, thanks for the reminder.
