I'll go Saturday the 14th. Want to go then? Do I go through you or through their website to pay up?
IHF you look a lot like BajaDoug!
Did you get your GoPro aimed so that we ain't looking at your nads while riding?
And here is the view from the seat.

Does anyone here fix computers? I have a desktop (Dell 8?00) that got a virus a couple years ago. I couldn't fix it myself, so I just shelved it and use the laptop now. But I need to use some of the software (Delorme and Office) on the desktop now, and would like to have it working again. Shoot me a PM if you or someone you know can help. I've spent several hours fiddling with it and I've given up, so I'll need to take it to whoever can work on it.
UPDATE - CARTER MOUNTAIN RIDE
For those guys who are going - Slight change of plans on how to pay. To make matters easier, go to THIS LINK and print the membership form. Send it in with the $25 check. Put a note on there that you are signing up with Jason Murphy. They will mail you your stickers. Much easier and timely this way. They are VERY strict on allowing people on their property. No sticker = no ride. So don't wait to long to mail your stuff in. Mine is in the mail today.
JEV - I wish I could ride on the 14th. This weekend (LBL) will be my 4th ride weekend in a row. If I don't stay home next weekend on the 14th .... well I'll be able to ride every weekend after that If you can get some buddys together to go - then go ahead on the 14th. Just mail in your app and check like us.
IYA - No worries bro - we'll be riding dirt all fall / winter. The "real" off road season us upon us
Who wants to ride trail 3 with me?
Going to be out at the lake on the 21st for my wifes bday so the 14th is my only chance.
Anyone want to meet up and ride on the 14th? Spinnit Man? I've got room for a second bike in the back of el trucko.
Any way I can get in on that Carter Mountain ride without having a bank account?? All I do is cash, I know, that's unheard of.
And for those of you heading to the LBL200 have a good weekend. I've already seen several bikes heading in that direction. Sadly I'm going to be missing it again this year.
Carter Mountain is awesome. If you haven't ridden it you are missing out. It will be a great trip. Sorry I am out of town. Bummer. Have fun Jason.
I am in for trail 3.
I see you're learning to ride the rocks, which is good because there ain't no desert around here.
Sorry to have missed you. It was a great ride but, boy am I whipped. Probably won't go back for tomorrow, unless I feel better in the mourning. Definitely going back next year & I'll probably camp so I won't have an excuse to miss out on Sunday.
My dang Gopro ran out of power before we got to the tricky stuff. Next time I'll wait to start filming until we get to the single track.
On the way home I gassed up at your store. Thought you might of had to work since you weren't at the 200. Give me a ring some time, we'll get some very important dirt bike riding done sooner or later.
My dang Gopro ran out of power long before we got to the "Good Stuff". I really thought the mountain bike trails would be more challenging. Still lot's of fun but, all the footage I got was basically the same old casual stroll through the gravel that I always post.
By the time I shot this 34.5 seconds, the Gopro had already shut itself off. The trail was just so good that I turned it back on & didn't have enough power to record any sound.
Sandalscout is really getting to be a good rider. I was proud to be there for his first time riding single track. Hope he made it home yesterday, he had just hit reserve when I left for home.
Here you go, wankers...
Dammit, I'd like to ride Carter Mountain one of these days. I missed last years ride in June. I can't make it this time. One of these days!
HAHA, I don't know about that. I do feel like I'm getting better, but I have a long ways to go. You missed all of my more embarrassing moments yesterday, the fall into the creek bed was ridiculous and hilarious. Fortunately, Ken didn't laugh at me too much!
It was a really great ride, thanks for everything. There was one or two spots that I had this slight niggling to just jump on the road and ride to Piney, but you and Ken both showed no desire to stop, and I'm really glad we rode the entire route. It was really surreal watching them load still-running genuine dirt bikes into pickup trucks at the lunch stop.
I know a few more of you made it out there, IHF, were you around?
Oh, and WS, I made it to gas just fine. I cleaned the bike this morning, and here is the result of yesterday's ride:
broken radiator shroud and bent cover
radiator fan that will not turn off (started 20 minutes after washing it this morning!)
broken starter button
very badly adjusted handguards (I apparently rode home with my brake lights on the entire time)
I had a blast!
hope you're taking a trials bike!
Is it THAT bad?
Any of yous TN boys do the LBL freestyle/sharting jump?
^ ^ ^ ^ ^
I did it.... but was about 215mph slower . . . . . so it was more of a jalapeno poot than a shart
Since all bike tricks have a name (nac nac, superman, etc...) I hereby officially name any jump, rut, creek, log, turn, etc that you hit waaaaaay to fast but, you still pull it off as . . . . . . ."sharted it"
BTW - - - I've got some Tellico pics I need to post - - - I'm just still too damn tired
