I rode my 749 on a dirt road once....once.
I haven't been hawking this post, anything going on this weekend?
1204 big Barton's creek road, zip 37055
615 545 1111 texts ok
I've had to follow 2fast since we were kids. Destroying an engine is a small price to pay if it means being able to stay a little closer to him when we ride. Plus, I plan to sell it to SandalScout this spring, so......
Levee run sounds good to me. But uh southernraised are we going to chain your xr to mine an let me pull you? Or is like a little leprechaun goin to come to my shop with some parts an magically make it run again. Oh an buy the way you seen the Klr lately? It's bad enough that he is marrying your sister but takeing your bike!
I have the perfect thing to slow him down. If I'm at the LBL campout, I'll bring it. Do not ask any further questions. Just trust me.
IF??? What's with the if?
IF I plan to be there, Murphy will show up the day before and ruin the weekend.
In that case your IF is acceptable.
Dean, I see this as an event on twinshock.org called "ITSA Southeast Regional Round 11"
Is there open trail riding at the event or is it just for the event?
i.e. I just want to blast around trails and what not, not race or do trials
There isn't any riding at the event other than competitors, but we hope to see ya there!
I got the same look but the sound I made was oink oink
The weather looks to be great for the weekend. I will be riding Sunday.
Anyone else interested in running the levee roads from Paducah down towards Tiptonville? There will be some gravel, lots of pavement, chances for some good pictures and a fairly brisk pace if the conditions allow it.
What time you thinking and where ? Going to be in the 30s early I think.
Makes me love my heated gear!
I'm open as far as time goes. We can meet at my shop (just a few miles from Paris Landing) and leave from there, head to Paducah via the back roads and start working our way south along the Ohio and MS rivers. Maybe get late lunch at Boyettes along Reelfoot Lake or one of the many BBQ joints over that way.
Nothing set in stone. We can change up as needed for routing, fuel, eating, etc. There will be lots of pavement and a fair amount of gravel. I might be slow on the gravel as my tires a more street and fairly low on any aggressive tread.
I'm game. I just put knobbies on the GS so I will need to run a reasonable pace on the street.
The V-Strom is in! ...watching for details...
I'm thinking leave the house around 8 am? If this is to late let me know.
