I am in !
Sounds like fun, another time though. A bunch of us are riding Sasquachie Valley tomorrow (mostly trails from what I hear).
I am. Not sure I can get away yet, but I am going to try.
I'll be down there in the AM. Looking forward to meeting a few of you guys.
Sounds great guys! Looking forward to meet you all. Remember, if you are planning to eat there before we go please arrive before 12, let's try to get out there 1 pm sharp!
Hey Brawner - we're gunna be hookin up at this McDOnalds around 7:30 or so for gas and breakfast.
2485 S Church St, Murfreesboro, TN
T13 said he might have room on his rig to ride down there.
Twist, Dcar and Ruff - see ya'll at the EMT station around 9am.
Gunna be some mudholes tomorrow boys bring your cameras
Oh yea...we'll gas up and eat lunch at a store so bring some $
Both rides sound great,...... too many projects for me to be able to ride though. Have fun!
And don't be stingy with the pictures. I have to ride vicariously for a while. The DRZ is coming apart tomorrow. And the dang Hawk needs a battery.
Picked it up today with ThreadKiller. 2003 KDX 200 w/ MX suspension, Gnarly pipe (with 2 exhausts), extra plastics, and handguards. Only 1400 too (TK said he would have went lower, but I am not a master negotiator yet). I need to redo the suspension probably (it's really stiff for someone my size) and a few other things but I can't wait to take it on the trails!
WIN!!! Nice grab!
Surely someone out there has stock KDX springs laying around...
Nice KDX ! I had a 1993 model & it was bullet proof. Congrats !
Moulin, sandalscout & donttellmywife- I had a great ride. Lovin that 30 miles of slab on 840 in the dark on a 450 to get home!
My trip today was ~150 miles total . Thanks again guys- was fun!
It came with some FRONT springs which I believe are stock (but I have no way of knowing and the guy wasn't sure either. But I would be interested in some rear suspension.....
E bay used = cheap!
Congrats Magic Mike, looks fun!
Good ride today! I had exactly 170 miles when I got home. The last half hour was FRIGID for me.... I am still cold!
1 successful ride report posted, with safe returns and no major incidents. Now where's the other one?
Man we had a heck of a ride.
Sesquatchie never ceases to show you a good time.
Cover a lot of ground... fast.
We had a really good group. Rode fast. Nobody got misplaced or fell back....just kept moving all day.
There wuz 6 of us that rolled out of Coalmont.
New guy Brian...
And Her Highness . . . Twisty
The mud was just thawing as we started. And it was WET. It was super slick till about 2 hours after we started riding. I think all of us learned how to ride with our front wheel on the hogsback and the rear wheel in the rut.
The group really never stopped and there wasn't much carnage so there I didnt get many pics.
Came across some timber trouble. Twist and T13 made qwick work of it
That little hand chainsaw Twist had really cut thru fast.
We were going down theis muddy rut and my bike stopped rolling.
Took us a while to figure it out. One of the links in my chain wasn't "bending' like it should so when it came around the front sprocket it was sbumped up a little but and wouldn't make it past the clutch guard. Weird that the smallest little thing could stop a bike.
It was a nice day for lunch outside at the Palmer store.
We took of down into the gulfs. The water was a little high and the lines were all messed up from high winter water levels.

Other than that it was uneventful. A good ride with good riding buddies. I don't think there are any more pics or vids. That's pretty much it.
Ha! Your lucky there was a camera malfunction and your dive into the river sized creek wasn't caught. I'm sure we'll see some before and after though...
Looks like good times.
bet you wish you had a 20 dollar windshield like me huh? aint pretty but it works. had a fun time on the devil today with you guys. gotta do it again soon. best part of the day was walking in the back door and a hot dinner waitin for me on the table. good stuff
Man I missed a good ride looks like, glad you guys had a great time. I got quite a bit done on the 450 here, tank patched, ( hopefully ) , Kick stand fixed, determined bad battery, got on charge over night just to make sure. Rode bike up and down the road and fells pretty dang strong, no problem keepin front up through 4th gear. :huh
