Google. And a lot of luck, I guess. I came in from the west side, and the roads were not well marked. The directions I got from Google Maps was confusing, even misleading.... so I took a guess.... :D

    Thanks!

BTW, the best Indian place in town is across from that sushi place. The Woodlands, and it's all vegetarian, it's the only place I dont miss meat.

Sadly, I recognize this place because of the Pella window joint. Wife and I have been there few times.
(oh and the Dairy Queen too...)
Good Indian across the street?! Sounds good (except for the lack of meat).

Nice machine, btw. Love the "R". Wifey wanted me to get one with the asphalt (flat) paint. Can't seen to find a pic of it, but it was all blacked out with the flat paint. Looked downright sinister.

I can't believe your wife encouraged a KR, obtaining mine included a lot of begging. :D

it was COLD in the Harpeth River Valley this morning. The fog was as thick as pea soup! Oh, and Mary Helen wasn't there, but her daughter was. I had a good time chatting with the folks there while soaking up some HEAT!

Dave - I didn't have my GPS, but this is at the intersection of Hwy 250 and Stringfellow Road, just north and east of White Bluff. Not sure if it's Cheatham or Dickson County, but it's right at the line.

How many tags on a V-Strom are there? Close to a million, I'm sure!

I really thought I'd get bruced by you Monday night, but I'll always make a run down Hwy 250. Dave, the caboose is across the street from Mary Helens, two tags w/ one stone, so-to-speak.

It was cold when I went out there too. It was just as the sun was coming up and my bike showed 39 degrees at one point on Stringfellow. I'd still take it over the hot humid mess from this summer.

Did about 30 miles in the rain last night. Gloves got soaked. This mornings commute was unpleasant.

I'm now looking for a pair of good waterproof/winter gloves. Lots of stuff out there. Anybody got a pair they like and would recommend?

Me too. I'm not used to riding at DS speeds in the winter so "high speed" winter gear is new to me. I've got:

    First Gear Kilimanjaro jacket
    and
    First Gear HT pants

on the way but don't know what I need in the way of gloves. I DO NOT like to be cold.

I was planning on just wearing MX boots since they are pretty much windproof and offer good protection.

I wonder about my neck and face too.

SO what kind of gloves do we need?
