Where's your office? I'll make that the next tag!
It would be even better if you'd just make it my house.
Which reminds me...the folks on the street behind me were all flooded out this spring and many are just now getting back to normal. Yesterday evening we were sitting at home when we started smelling smoke. Went outside and discovered one of the houses that had been through the flood was burning. Those poor folks have really been through it this year.
I quess the next thing on the list is a tornado... :huh
Man, that is terrible about your neighbors. I hate that for anyone.
And I LOVE your sig line. It couldn't be more true. Then AND now.
I was finally able to get logged back into Google and I've got the map up to date except for the Fernvale tag.
Where is it exactly?
Good job. What did it take?
The Fernvale tag is somewhere around here: 35.955361,-87.075798
May not be exact but close enough to where you'd find it. I guess I should have gotten the coordinates.
Hmmmm....... roughly 25 square miles.
edit: Wait, I think I misunderstood your clues...off to Google Earth!
It's easy to find and easy to get to. You should have it in no time.
Talky, talky, talky .
I can't wait till warmer, longer days come back. I miss being able to get tags after work . . . . . . .
Better hurry, I'm only 3000 miles away and know exactly where that is. I didn't expect you to use it after talking about it with you at the secret summit!
I'll leave here in the morning, and have it within 30 hours of wheels up.
Downside will be leaving the 75 degree beach, bikinis and surf to nail it.
Now's your chance,
Nothing like wrestling a 400 pound pig in the woods in the dark.

A little baby oil & some rubber boots & you've got yourself an Arkansas good time, there!
AH HA . . . . Way to go DD
I believe you've found two of my tags (Cartwright Close). SInce you're not afraid of gettin' dirty, I can se I'm gunna have to crank it up a notch
So, I had one of "those" experiences this morning...
I work in an office park in Hermitage with a few dozen other businesses. I park in a covered area which is also where all of the smokers gather to do their thing. I'm standing there taking off my gear when this guy comes out to smoke and he says, "Wow, I can't believe you rode that thing this morning". I said, "It's not bad out, and my gear keeps me pretty comfortable". He looks at my bike and says, " I've got a Harley at home. If I lived closer I might ride in too, but I live over in Mt. Juliet". I said, "You ought to. I live in Bellevue and it's about a 30 mile run each way. It's a nice way to start the day".
He mumbled somethig and wondered over to smoke with his buddies.
I'm thinking to myself, this guy can't ride his Harley from Mt. Juliet to Hermitage? WTF???
Suddenly I felt like a real bad ass, which is pretty rare for an old, bald, fat guy on a KLR.
Your new tag...
An old grist mill. This thing didn't use a water wheel. It had a turbine. It was built in 1862.
Edit: Map has been updated.
Yep and the stone quarry men chiseled their initials in some of the stones to get paid for their weeks pallet of work. You can find some of their pay stones in that structure.
I Ain't Going To get It - its Cold Out There!
im in the game whenever i get back!
Lemme introduce you to this Harley rider I just met.
