Just wait till you go out at night, your first corner you will freak when you turn the bars and the headlight doesn't follow the bars.

Did 270 miles of street today. Rode 85 from Carthage to Clarkrange, then rode back to Carthage via Granville. Granville has a little gas station/country store/restaurant that's worth a visit if you're ever in the area. Good roads going to and from it, too.

I like to run 96 up past the lake and then on up to Granville. That is some great riding. You get out again tomorrow Matt?

Not sure. I have a few things that absolutely must get done tomorrow. Don't know if I'll have time to get out and ride.

Crap! My plans were to ride the mountain bike and get in the garden today. Looks like this band of rain will keep me out until this afternoon.

    What are your plans, John?

We tried, but the rain dampened our spirits. Got a few miles of twisties in and a plate of brisket, so the day wasn't a total wash. hehe The closer I got to the house, the better the weather got. Roads finally dried up and the sky turned blue. Walked in the house and didn't realize I'd left my thermostat on 4°.

Edit: Now that I've changed clothes, I think I'll put a rear end in the couch this afternoon.

Blue skies here now, and 2" of water in my boots. I don't think we could have timed that any worse. :lol3

the Faith Riders chapter at my church is having their "Ride for Life" event this weekend. It starts at First Baptist Church of Spring Hill. Registration opens at 9:00. I think the ride starts at 10:00. It's a marble run. A lot of fun and all the $$$ goes to a good cause.

Free food and door prizes after the ride.

I hope to see you there!

Do any of you experienced street guys have a good suggestion for a place to ride to eat tomorrow? I haven't been on a joyride in a couple weeks and I'm feeling the need. I was thinking Fall Creek Falls, but I *think* Sunday is the expensive buffet.
