Count me in! I just did the 2012 fall trail ride in oct, on my daughters KLX 140 & had a blast. Can't wait to hit the trail on the 450 EXC in April.

I'm about 100 miles N.E. of Memphis (only about 30 miles from Loretta Lynns) so if you do move to the memphis area, perhaps we could get some VERY important motorcycle riding done. The 2012 fall trail ride was my first time riding Loretta Lynns but, it was a first class event in every way & being so close to it, I'll never miss it again!

I'd reply...but I ride an ADV bike. Not meant for this type of ride (unfortunately).

I didn't see one up yet either? So I fired off an email to one of their members so Soon as I know I'll post up the link.

I trailered my KTM down last fall and blew it up the first day there. Fortunately my local riding buddies had a brand new 2011 400 with 39 miles on it that he let me ride. 1000 mile trip just to blow up a bike was pretty bad. Won't make that mistake this year . I'll be bringing along a back up Just In case! :rofl

We always set up camp along the river. Not sure what the camping arrangements are gonna work out to be we have about 6 families in our group but hey the more the marrier

Good idea. This event is a blast & I'm surprised so few have expressed interest. I hope to never miss it again.

Work Currently has us living in eastern Pennsylvania. Originally from the Somerville, Boliver Tn area. Most of the Boyz I ride with in TN are from the Jackson area. Dad passed last year, Moms still down there so we head down at least twice a year always predicated around the Spring or Fall Trail rides at Loretta's.

I think Ride Too Little hit the nail on the head, Loretta Lynns is NOT very big bike friendly. Even a big bore single can be a hand full on the special single track sections. They hold Grand National Cross Country events there.

It is an awesome off road event. It has been a few years since I've ridden there, but there is some great trails in them thar hills. I highly recommend it for anyone with a dirt bike, and Dual Sporters that want a challenge.

YES. DRZ would be just fine. I tried it last fall on my KLR & had to give up but, I had street tires on at the time. After riding your bike, I wouldn't hesitate to ride Loretta Lynns on it.

DRZ is a perfect tool for ripping up the trails at the ranch. Come on out join in and enjoy the fun.

For you local riders. Where else can you pay $50.00 for a 3 day riding event? :even paying the $12 for the optional Saturday Night Banquet Meal is a really good deal for the amount of food drink and prizes given out during the night. Coarse I'm biased there cause most years but not always I've gotten some recognition for traveling the furthest to attend. Got beat out couple yrs in a row by a family who comes up from Florida. Google maps had us like 34miles apart!

Bump back up front. With only two weeks to go before the event we can't wait. Seems like winter just won't give up here in the northeast.

Really looking forward to some warmer weather? Haven't been checking the forecast but anyone know off hand what the night time temps are still getting down to?

Weather.coms 10 day forecast says the coldest low will be 27f. on Tue/Mar/26 & the warmest low will be 48f. on Sun/Mar/31. However, I find the ten day foecast to be highly inaccurate.

My big worry is all the rain we've been getting here & more is predicted. Hopefully the spring ride won't be a wet slippery mess. Some of those hills are steep & might be tricky if they are too wet.
