1973 Honda CB750 with fresh tires for $300
Nice deal on a DR650. It's even got that oh-so-desirable purple barbie frame
Hi, if there's anyone out there looking for a bloody good deal on a GC they should take a look at this (not mine-just saw it and wanted to pass it on)
I've never heard of it, but a DS bike with a Ducati engine sounds promising.
Oh, it is. One of the most fun bike I've ever owned. Pretty sure that bike has my old luggage rack and bags on it.
There is an ADV thread for GC's and a very active owners group on yahoo... they're great bike bike, handle well and are reliable, I did 700 miles on mine last weekend up in the UP with 200 or those in the rain and she never missed a beat! only around 200 or so were imported into the US but the owners group are great about finding spares, substututes etc'.
in one of the cycle mags the other month (cycle world I think) they rated the GC as one of the most underrated bikes on the road and one on the best used buys out there.
I have to agree.
One of the fellas that did the Colorado Cannontrek was on a Gran Canyon. Sometimes I had him ride in front of me just so I could hear it
Sure made me miss my S4R
you sound like the guy I rode with at the weekend Boomer. the bugger wouldn't ride in front because he was "in love" with noise coming out of my pipe...s. Seriously, most GC's end up with aftermarket cans and a "FastbyFerrachi" chip and sound like a Wagner symphony.
(if that guy sells his bike he's going to own me a commission!).
This looks pretty cool.
Hmmm...Be right back...
Nope, still can't find carbs on my M900ie...
Seems like a very good deal. Wish I had the moola
Now this is different.
Different is right, he's got a severely messed up TW200, that doesn't run and may leak or burn oil, but don't lowball him man!
That thing ain't worth $500!
A good deal for the right person.
My first bike was an SX 250. Avoid!!!
