    Gentlemen,

I happened to purchase a set on Mikuni VM 38 carbs which I would like to put on an R 100, replacing the 40mm Bings. Can anyone here share their experience with me? I would be immensely grateful for any advice regarding the proper setup of these carbs (jetting, needles, needle position etc.):evil.

    Thank you very much! :bow

    best wishes from Germany

I do. I love them. No problem starting from below freezing, to over 100 degrees. Runs great even though still a tad rich. I also commute from 7450ft to 4800ft daily with nary a problem either and have been to 10,600ft with it.

Ja, and they work great. Greetings from the great Southwest USA! As far as I know, the rest of the motor is stock.
