Did you pull the trigger? I had t63s on my klr and they were great. Good in the NW Wisconsin sand and gravel and still commuted to work during the week (rain or shine). Was very pleased.

Thanks for the info. My mind is pretty made up. But, if the AC10 wears really fast, I will be going to a more pavement-friendly tire and the MT-21, T63, 244/270 are at the top of that list.

With 4 days of rain, it is going to take more than a day for things to dry out.

I really want to do that ride sometime. But I will be in Arizona and Utah most of the last half of May.

I have done it. Some of the coolest single track that you can only ride twice a year.

I hear you. There is a D/S ride the same weekend in Arkansas I was kind a wanting to do there is also a 2 day trials event at the Theilman club grounds same weekend:hmmmmm:dunno
The fall Theilman ride always seems to fall on the same weekend as Shindig weekend which is the same as the Dakal :thumbride this year.

Maybe if they open Snake Crk or Trout Valley on the 1st we can get a ride in down there the first part of the week.

I would like to get out on the trails around here at least once before I head out west. I really like Snake Creek. And it is the closest place for me.
Logistically Monday is the best day next week for me. Looks like weather might partly cloudy but chilly.
I can't go Tuesday. But I might be able to solve my logistics issues later in the week.

Heading out Fri for a Wi-Mi DS ride so earlier in the week is best for me Mo-Tu-We, Wouldn't mind getting some peg time prior to Fri.
If they open the trails May 1 will be weather dependent and they usually post on Thursday and the 1st being Monday who knows.:dunno

Wish I could make it but an AM meeting stands in the way. The DNR website says Dorer Forest trails are still closed, but maybe it hasn't been updated yet....

    Strange,
Richard J. Dorer Memorial Hardwood Forest Forest roads are OPEN to all motor vehicles unless signed otherwise. Forest trails are CLOSED unless signed open. NOTICE: TUSHAUS HILL ROAD is currently closed due to washouts from recent rainstorms. When repairs to the road are complete the road will reopen. Google shows TUSHAUS HILL ROAD as being in the Mn Hills State Forest.

In the A-Z trail list it shows as open 5-1 11-1 and when I called Rochester DNR they said it would be open on 5-1. Guess only way to know for sure is drive 2hrs in the morning and see for myself.

Sorry about the ribs. With all the lifting you did to get the bike back on the trail, I thought it wasn't that serious. You are one tough SOB.

BTW this happened on the second long, steep, rocky uphill at Trout Valley, the one just after the south parking entrance. This is a very challenging ride, not for beginners.
