There is an ADV meet and greet at 7 at Market BBQ in Minneapolis. It's located within walking distance of the convention center. Here is a map.

Good food, brews and fellow riders. Not to shabby. Weather could get questionable so avoiding the driving around is good.

Have fun... I'll be there in the afternoon and unfortunately doing some work that evening.

All manner of options. The Local is an excellent pub, close to the hotel.

Dinner wise, depends on what you're into, I could make a more specific suggestion.

I've seen AC perform about 1/2 dozen times. Excellent rider.

It's nice to see that those comments you filled out on how to make the show better have taken effect and they are doing what the people want to really see.

Sadly, no one here has the delightfully discriminatory practices of Moxies or Earls. I do miss that about Saskabush. Even Original Joes was good for some casual viewing.

If you head west from the hotel over to First Ave, there are plenty of youthful options - some sports bars and night club sorta places. I've always been more of a pub guy than a club guy, so the British places are an easy standby.

Maybe try Solera or Seven for a trendy dinner spot. Union recently opened, I haven't been there.

After that, just head up first ave stopping for a drink at each place you pass til you find one you like. :1drink

Or go straight to The Seville and never leave. :sweeti

I hope our visitors from the North left early today, by nightfall this rain is supposed to freeze and the whole region turned to one big skating rink. :vardy
