There is some ghost towns south of St Clair make that the fall.
Rusty you have to look at this way; if you didn't try the crossing you would still be wondering if you could of made it across and it would be on your mind till the next SBR, I think you would of made it on the ST.
It was good riding with you again this year, maybe next year I'll lead more and you can just follow and enjoy the ride.
Rusty, you saved the rest of us from trying it and that's all that mattered to me buddy! After seeing you go down I said to John that $4 ferry ride is lookin pretty good right now....lol See you saved us from trashing our bikes and sitting on the riverbanks enjoying the day wasn't so bad for me at all:) I love to sit in the sun, just wish I would have had my swimsuit on underneath....maybe next time!
So I missed this creek crossing and the Ferry, my GPS brought us out on the other side of the Ferry, was this the Ashly Creek part?
Not sure exactly where it was, all I know is it was about 6 miles from the Devils Well???
Good possibility of making this happen. St. Anthony's church picnic is the 3rd Sunday in Sept, sausage in the fall, yum! Pencil in the date on the calendar.
Your swimsuit could have made your injuries hurt worse.
Maybe you should get the upgrade kit for that GPS of yours, it seems to have a mind of it's own!!!!!!!!
A "sooner" SB could be arranged by anyone who knows a specific area, it's just the GPS thang that would have me stumped!:huh
Any more input into arranging another tour somewhere in Mizzoo/N Arkansas???????
September 16th, hmmmm
Yes Jim, you cross Akers ferry to get to Ashley Creek.
South on Hwy K to Ashley Cr Rd, hang a left
If you have a tracks capable gps, Ashley creek is a separate track from the rest of the SBR tracks.
When I got to the ferry I just loaded up the Ashley Cr portion and off you go!
This track brings you past Bo's Hollow and up through Montauk St Park
Jeez!! You fur-n-ers! Ain't you ever heard the connection between KLR's and Milk Crates?
Tami we all wished you had your swimsuit on also while you were sitting on the side of the river. You think them drunk hillbilly were watching you in your riding gear, just thank how much they would be watching if you had it on.
I guess my approach of not talking about it would make it go away is not working here. Keith your pretty cute for a chubby_guy but your ugly on the inside too.:d. I liked you rr but i didn't think that the water crossing was quite as dramatic as you described it. And a word to rusty's brother, the only reason you were invited to the ride was rusty wanted to ride both his bikes__________________
You must be drinking those girlie drinks again, they are making you a little bitchy....

Hope I did this right??
I need help posting pic's I have downloaded Photobucket .. But do NOT know how to make the pic's full size
I got it now roll over the photo you want to paste to your RR. Left click the IMage Code bar that pops up, it will auto copy, open you ADV window your posting in and paste where you want the image. EASY PEASY!
Oh you will just see your code in your text box as you compose your post. Until you actually post it. I usually hit enter twice after each line of code before I start typing or post a new image.

Quick fix and back on the road
You want it like this right?
You want the "album" page in PB, The one that shows all the small photo's in the album. Then roll over the photo you want, a box with 4 choices appears below the photo, left click the last choice, "imgage code", It will auto copy, then past it to where you want it in your ride report.
