Sorry about the late notice, I was out dirt biking all day and just got home. I'll be at the QT off I-55 in Pevely at 8:30 am if anyone wants to join. WIll head south and try to hit some dirt/gravel in Lesterville/Bixby area. Will have to do some pavement to get there, be prepared for a chilly morning.

El Dorado Cycle's Fall 2012 Dual Sport Adventure Ride

Many of you have asked,"When will you be having another dual sport ride?", and even though the leaves have started to fall, we thought we would embrace the season and take a back road tour of the wonderful colors autumn has to offer.
    Saturday, November 3rd
Starting and ending here at El Dorado Cycle
70-80 miles of mostly dirt road
    Departure between 10AM-NOON
    Arrows, Maps, GPS
If the summer has taken its toll on your tires, don't worry, we stock most popular brands such as Michelin, Continental, Bridgestone, Heidenau, and Shinko. As always, if you have any questions, or need to schedule your tire change or other service, you can call Randy at 417-876-5342 or email us at Info@eldoradocycle.com. We hope to see you all there.

Follow up question, big bike friendly? 130 mile ride from KC. Tenere would be easier to bring down. Unless it is tight off road I should be okay.

    I hope.

So does that mean that there is a new "Wilwood Creek" somewhere? Or is this gonna be "Mizzou Creek"?

Ha! Nope.. I didn't drown the bike this time. We were out of there in minutes.
It takes 2 dumps, plus one has to take at least 2 maybe 3 hours to fix.
    Then it gets a name.
I was feeling like a old man by the time we got back yesterday. Must have been the long miles.. Or the cold weather..
Or, it might be just because I am a old fart. Ha

I thought about it, I just heard about it this past weekend. I need to ride since it has been awhile. It is only 70 - 80 miles of good roads I am sure but I think I will pass and do the finishing touch up for this up deer season or might even take the boat out one last time on Sunday before it gets to cold.

What have you been up? We need to get together sometime and get some riding in.

Just a heads up ___ Deer Rifle Season starts this weekend. For those of you planning to ride the woods beware of flying bullets.

Good advice, stay out of the woods the next two weekends. A small price to pay for the other 50 we get:deal

I bet the KTM orange looks a lot like the brown/orange of a deer to a lot of hunters.

    Cheers,
