No road closed sign was passed.

Head north off. KASKASKIA island and back into Missouri.

    GPS New Bourbon Port.

Look for twenty million dollars worth of tax payers money, never used, not usable.

Mighty Mississippi hasn't blessed this installation.

Well hell--------that ain't no fun if there's no road closed sign.
I've haven't been on that levee road in years.
    Headin' out------in the dark.

Think I need to eat breakfast again at "Al's" in McBride, MO. again.

I actually went to Dogpatch way back when I was in high school. Be interesting what they end up with.

Hmm. Would hate to see the Hub go. Randal and Debbie are great people to stay with while exploring the area.Plus Scooters have great prime rib and other meals.

And I guess the new owners won't let me plug the toy hauler into that non-code receptacle on the old sign. :(

Not to high jack, but whatever happened to "Dogpatch" and the Mystery Spot just across Bagnell Dam? We vacationed there as youngsters back in the '70s.?

I was at Dogpatch in July. It was still abandoned. My wife and I think this is a scam by Jim Baker of PTL fame. He is based in Branson now.

My interests would definitely be towards the Vstrom type ride. I realized a few years ago that i don't enjoy and am also very slow riding a lot of gravel. Cutting across a few miles or going down a few miles to see something is fine. Jowannabe and i rode about a 100 miles together once and I decided to get rid of the DR650 and get the Tenere. Where do you live in Eldon?
