I've got a route I made from Jefferson City to Sedalia and back. I've got a friend that works there so I usually ride there, grab some lunch and ride back. If anyone is in the area sometime and wants to do a day ride. It's a little under 200 miles of gravel with a few stints on pavement to connect the gravel. Some low water crossings but usually they are dry. A couple little spots that are interesting enough to stop and take pictures.

Here is a link to my file. I save them to a kmz or kml file on my computer then load it to my garmin montana through the bascamp program.

Dracer35 Cool! :D Thanks for taking the effort to find a route and document it and share. :thumb You even cleaned it up, I hate when people leave their wrong turns and gas stops in the file. And you didn't filter it to 500points for the antique GPSs, that leaves much better detail when you do it like you did. :nod

Not a GPS expert by any account, but.......................most people use a GPX file to share as more programs recognize that and more people are familiar with it. I was able to convert it so all's well for me, just saying........:dunno

Setting look fine to me opened right up, downloaded, saved, converted to GPX. :thumbup

This looks weird, and by weird people.

Wendy, the heart of Dog Patch, looks like she has been off the pipe for six months now.

The riding in that area is fantastic, but the rest.....

Thank you. I forgot to mention the far East portion is all residential for when some friends of mine were coming over. I'd cut it out if you do ride the route. I'm at work right now so I can't go in and edit it but I think it's pretty self explanatory.

Thanks, I've got it loaded. If you like fording creeks you can make a couple adjustments and pick up Old Swiss Rd north of California, loop back up north on Cheesefactory Rd to Gooseberry Hollow to D. Then north toward Prairie Home Conservation Area. Then to the west of there before you reach Dick's Mill check out Long Drive ford crossing the Moniteau. The south side of the ford is steep hill.

I like the sound of that. I'll have to check it out when I get some free time.

Here is a .gpx file of low water bridges and fords I've been working on. You hit quite a few of them on your route.

Very nice! That's generally what I aim for when I plan a ride. It needs to cross/ford water at some point during the tide to keep my attention.

Sorry, not my route to share. It's Dracer35's route, I don't post, share, modify or promote other people's work. Kind of like Sam's TAT that he feels is his intellectual property. I don't like people sharing my stuff without asking and I respect others stuff too. :dunno

Now ..................if Dracer35 wants me to post up his route in GPX format to share I'd be glad to do that for him. :deal Calling Dracer35 to the white curiosity phone ???????????????

I grew up just outside of Barnett. Often when I am going for a 30 or 40 mile ride I end up going through Barnett and then down W one direction or the other. I ride down south a few times a year and into Arkansas at least once a year.
