That's what I thought. So I was kind of surprised to open two yellow stripe tires.
BLACK. 3 PLAY
YELLOW STRIPE, DAKAR, 4 PLY
You can get all the info off the canadian website
Hmmm. That's odd.
whats odd? dakar, 4 ply, mo money
But I only paid for the regulars. And received yellow stripes. :)
I did send him a pm though.
im getting ready to get a set. maybe i will get lucky also. i would be happy to trade you a black set so your bike wont look funny
I have an '02 Tiger. So it already looks funny. She'll be alright.
My set of e07s showed up in WV today. Great looking tires I have been wanting to try these for a long time. thanks for the fast shipping!
Mine arrived today. Great deal, smooth transaction. Can't wait to test them out on the Dempster next week.
Holy cow! GREAT NEWS! Will be ordering a set of 07's soon. Over 5K miles on my current set and the front is getting pretty worn but the rear is still going strong. Taking a trip out west in a few months though and would rather start it out with a fresh set.
any millage info on these 07's yet. what are they getting? im hearing good things but are they getting close to the k60's?
Hikertrash, are you going to make D2D and Kenai Alaska? Have a couch in Anchorage.
On E09 mileage, I road from Dawson to Inuvik with a guy who road a 990 Adventure up the TAT to Dawson and back to Eagle Plains. He was on the same E07 and looked like he would make it back to VA on that tire.
The E07 is what I had on the rear of my Tiger 955i and it was awesome. Got better traction than a TKC and at 4200 miles had no noticeable wear. Handled much better than expected. Was a royal pain in the ass to mount!!! I mounted the Dakar by hand on a tire stand.
I'm looking forward to trying the E-07 dakar on my 990.......as soon as I can get ahold of one
I'll buy an E07 as soon as you get it in 140/80-18...
I love those Mitas. I put a set of E-07 Dakar on my Triumph Tiger Explorer. I Did almost 4k miles in all conditions, highway, gravel roads, mud, sand and they look like brand new.
I'm going on a trip from Montreal,Canada to Colorado-Utah at the end of the month and would like a new set for that trip. The problem is: our Canadian dealer Mx1 Canada is out of stock. I'll probably put back my Tourance for the ride to Denver, and hoping "durrel racing" near Denver will have received the Mitas till then.
Otherwise, does anybody know someone else who would have the Mitas in stock along the way to Denver ?
thanks for the quick shipping
Rode with some big bikes that were shod with MC-60s on our GL ride. The bikes handled great in the rocky roads and plowed through the sandy sections with out much drama. I was surprised to find the rear was Bi-directional, as in, one direction for dirt, the other for street. If only all tires were that easy to please...
Crunch 44, after my experience with these tires, if you only have 4k miles on the E07 and its a Dakar, just go on your trip. You'll find tires if you need them.
What's the difference between the dual sport and Dakar?
And does anybody in the US or Canada have them in stock???
