he he - yeah. One one of the videos you can see me on those switch backs. As the road gets steeper on one side, I get closer and closer to the other side. I was praying that none of it was super rocky, as I have a hard time holding my line in rocks.

Check out the second video of the switchbacks. Around 3:20 you can see the steepness and me starting to inch over...

The Casner trail was like that too, but it ran along a ridge. In some places dropping off to both sides, plus being steep AND rocky. I nearly barfed. Better riders would have just bounced up, but I had to rev the engine, slip the clutch and walk it up straddled with both feet on the ground. Man it was steep.

Check out the second video here at about 12:00 for the heavy breathing.

Thanks for this! I was down Casner Mtn on the bicycle a decade ago, and have been wanting to go see it again on a motorcycle. I went downhill, and my main memory is a hogback covered with baseball rocks, more or less at the south end of the powerline.

But gosh, it's thirty miles from here! Figures that a snowbird would let me know how it looks. :D

Arizona is fond of you lot, by the way...

I love it there. LOVE IT. Next year we are going for three months. I can arrange to work while I am there, and then I'll be out playing on the weekends. Although BC is great and all, it sux in the winter. I am toold old for all this rain, snow and cold.
