How's it looking up there after this recent weather? Looks like we'll be hitting town on the 28th, riding through Sunday afternoon.

Same. Most stuff is open now, mud is the issue.

    EDIT: Snowing like crazy now.

Everything West or south facing is melted off already.:clap Back to the norm, if it snows it should melt in a day or two! Hope for good snow above 6500' though.

Aw man, now I want to go! Awesome video. I like the end, felt like I was resting from a great ride, drinking my chocolate milk.

Last time I was on the trail was with the MB boys, going reverse direction. Oddly enough, I still recognize most of the trail. One of the riders handlebars held together with a tire iron from an earlier wreck, sticking out at an odd angle.

I'm going to be in Moab this weekend and was really hoping to ride the White Rim. Any idea whether or not that would be feasible with the recent snow? If not, any suggestions for a fairly easy trail that's not snowed in?

I'd guess it would be good to go, I haven't been out there though, most of the aspect is good, might be a bit of mud. Just a guess, don't hold me accountable if I'm wrong.

    Thump-

If the weather and riding are good at the end of the month are you going to come out?

Very likely.. I've got the 300 engine completely torn down to do rings, crank seals, etc. Assuming I get 'er back together and find a sucker to split gas.

Haven't been on the bike in two weeks now.. gotta ride soon.

I'm a definate maybe for this, and would be willing to split some gas for this.
At this point it looks like just me coming from the Springs. Fastest route is I25, C470, & I70.
I have a nice pickup and can haul 2 more persons and bikes with out a trailer.
One would be ideal but 2 is possible. Just throwing this out there.

3 of us will be there the 28th, headed back sunday afternoon. Looking to ride Sovereign, Metal Masher & Seven Mi rim one day. Possibly Poision Spider Mesa the next but nothing is set in stone. We've had great luck there riding the end of Feb each year, cool in the mornings getting up into the 50s, actually perfect riding weather and very little trail traffic.

I'd be happy to show you guys a bit more effective pattern to ride the good stuff (IMO of course) with far less connector than what is stated above. I'll also get ya out to the north 1/2 of Sovereign that was missing in your video. and to some not whooped out sand ST that'll remind you of home.....until you see Determination Towers or Wipeout Hill:wink:

Also, I don't care at all where we go (if you let me tag along), I just like to have folks to ride with.
Snow is mostly gone, I've ridden Slickrock twice and Amasa Back in the last couple of days.
