Moab Madness, Moab, Utah, April 6 - 14, 2018 Next Spring, April 6th to April 14th, 2018, we are going to be having a gathering of riders in Moab, Utah. The location for riders that have an RV, a Trailer, a Camper, or even a Tent, and you want facilities to go along with that rig, is that we will be meeting at the Archview RV Campgrounds, which is 9 miles north of Moab, Utah, on the East side of Hwy 191. If anyone wants to DRY camp, there is very good BLM land easily accessible within 2 miles of the Archview RV Campgrounds, just off Willow Springs Rd, also on the East side of Hwy 191, just north of the Archview RV Campgrounds location. The Archview RV Campgrounds also have different CABINS for rent, from basic Cabins, to Deluxe Cabins, to Luxury Cabins. They have a gas station on site, and a mini-convenience store too. Excellent bathrooms, large, clean, and lots of hot water for showers. The adjoining BLM land is excellent for large groups to gather, set up a roaring bon-fire, and circle the wagons (RVs) The vast majority of all riding can be done directly from these camping/RV locations. It is easy to spend a week to 10 days riding all the trails outside of Moab, Utah, and never have to ht the same trails twice. This event is hosted by all of YOU that attend, for the benefit of all of YOU that attend. There is NO entry FEE at all. Each rider here will pay for their own expenses, such as food and lodging, gas and NP entry fees. That is up to the individual. This thread is simply here to facilitate the gathering of information, the organization of information, so that riders can show up and know they will be meeting other riders, and not be alone. Anyone that is remotely familiar with the trails system surrounding Moab, Utah, knows that there are several dozen different trails, and each one has a different level of difficulty, from the extremely easy/peasy cow-trailing rides to the radically difficult extreme hard-core rides. For those that want to bring family along, this WILL be a family friendly event. We welcome ALL members of the family, but ask that if you "just have" to bring a dog along, please abide by the rules of common sense and logic. Not all people are into dogs, and we ask that you respect that. There are several National Parks immediately within this area, including the Archlands National Park that we will be adjacent to, and can access via back trails. ASK your questions. We are here to help, be open and honest, and hope to see a LOT of riders in Moab....riding.
