I recently went to Moab and I wanted one place to put up my photos. It would be really hard for me to put this area into words but a few that come to mind are stunning, ancient, strange, captivating, inspiring, heaven & hell.

I traveled & camped with my buddy Ben (Insured Disaster), met up with Jimbo (James T. Kirk) and did some riding on my own. We rode counter-clockwise through the White Rim Trail, up and over the Hurrah Pass area and dirt trails from Arches National Park to Grand Junction, CO. and eventually back to Denver. I highly recommend a trip to the area, no matter how you like to travel.

    I hope you enjoy.

After a long day of riding I jumped on I-70 and headed east. That is until I ran into white-out conditions at Loveland Pass. :huh I ended up camping out in one of the resorts trash trucks for a couple of hours until the storm passed. I plugged my electric vest into the ash tray and got warmed up. Thanks Loveland Ski Company! :D

Me and my battery were both about dead at this point and I rode into Denver at 2am.

Hopefully, next time I can meet up with you guys. Although someone told me you were in town on Saturday for the hail/rain storm. We were busy getting some welding done on our luggage racks at Moab 4X4. Steve the owner is awesome!

Sorry I didn't get to meet you Sparky. The first day we did Poison Spider and I lost my licence plate. The second day we went out to White Wash. The bike started idling funny, so the third day I went on a hike. The idle issue was a messed up O-ring on the mixture screw.

    Maybe next time.:beer

Glad to see you had a great weekend after our Colorado ride rained out. I ended up in Moab too but on the 525 (for the first time). Had a blast! Decided on Moab to escape the rain but it rained on us from about 7 am to 2 pm Sat - but only drizzle - actually was quite nice.

Glad to see that Wee off pavementd too! :clap
