from the top of golden spike you can see all the way across and through double arch!
Can you imagine what the first settlers thought when they arrived here on horse back and though "we gotta cross that???? :eek1 "

I will be up in that area over this weekend. No dirt this go round since my buddy is on a R1200R, but I am sure I will be back for some of the easy dirt some day.

Camping on a nice rock slab is like having a wonderful cement patio.

I was there this weekend. Perfect weather. It was the first trip of the year, so I made sure to dislocate my salute finger doing an endo on Salt Canyon Trail. Fortunately, it popped back in place and I could ride out. I had forgotten just how technical the top part of that trail is.

Great pics. Any chance Paul had the GoPro on you for the back flip?

Also, don't the bikes go in the Sprinter? Why the trailer?

    hey Scott,

I've the van setup so I can carry a bike inside, one on the back bumper and then upto 3 on the trailer.
For this particular trip we were leaving after work Thursday (i.e. getting there late) so I chose to use the trailer - makes it easier when we arrive because my bed and everything was already made in the back of the van.. I just crawled back under the duvet and went to sleep :D

Paul did get video of my flip. I have the file.. I just need to find some time to do a fun mix with it.
It wasn't bad; but relatively it was the worst crash I've had in years.
