I got one at the CYCLE GEAR, A 3/4 helmet, and it is DOT and actually fits well and is a pretty good helmet. I painted it in the vintage manner, with a rattle can and used pinstripe tape as well to make it look retro,. I needed something that looked better and fit the bike when I got my 1970 R60/5.

The Bell is nice, cheap and I find the sizing to be spot-on or slightly tight.

I roll the silver sparkle with a duckbill for commuting the handful of stoplight miles to work.

I find that having my pretty mug exposed is frightening above about 30mph, but then again I have friends who've had jaw reconstructions. And I live in a place where your right of way is violated at every intersection.

Are there ATGATT guys in old school? :lol3

Same. That thing is a damn beacon when it's sunny out. I wanted a white one for viability, and I think it was sold out or something when I had the money. Frankly I think the silver flake is more eye catching to other drivers than white would be. Hell, it certainly makes the ladies notice.

I have a non DOT Biltwell that I prefer size wise. The Bell helmet are substantially bigger but are DOT approved. I am not sure how much bigger the Biltwell Hustler (dot approved) is.
