Yeah, I wasn't overly original in the thread title. I've enjoyed the tiny home, cabin, and motorhome threads. God knows the internet has enough garage, playhouse and treefort threads. Let's go for something a little different. Not any of the above or guest houses, just sheds and small outbuildings that didn't come from Home Depot or Sears. Built by yourself or Grandpa always a plus. I've built a few over the last 25 years and will start with the oldest. I built this as a playhouse (yeah, I know what I just said about playhouses but stick with me.) for our kids about 23 years ago. My wife's grandfather planted the trees and her father helped me harvest them, so three generations were involved in making it for the fourth. When we moved 50 miles away into the hills 20 years ago I disassembled it, stuck all the logs in our Celica, and rebuilt it here. I spun the roof 90 degrees, took off the dormer and turned it into a haus for our two pigmy goats. Now it's been ignored as the goats died of old age years ago. #1Farkle lets her chickens hang around it. Nicer stuff coming.
