This was the first Adventure Ride for the old TDM since being modified in late 2005, just to see what would "fall off" before tackling the Flinders Ranges

Pretty as a picture as it started it's off road career

    A similarly prepared Dominator

The start of Pine Hutt Road

A very English looking Pine Hutt stone lined Rd

The view east to the Murray River over the Sedan plains

Crossing the mighty River Murray by ferry at Walkers Flat

At last we reached the Monash Station & found our campsite

Setting up camp ASAP so as to not miss out on precious daylight riding time

At least we shouldn't run out of wood tonight

Of course we had to lubricate the limbs a little and get the eyesight balanced & in focus before we hit the trail

Over 7kms long old survey tracks through the scrub

Just had to look out for those f****** cattle ruts grabbing the front wheel at the wrong time

Damn!........................where the f*** did those trees come from?

Fabulous fast open scrub tracks to test the reflexes

Whooh old girl!............................that was a bit too fast

Now for the boundary run......................which way did you say?

    The TDM Sand Dragster

    No centre stand required here

Of Course the Dominator couldn't be out done....look no hands

Not all sand out here either

The start of over 15kms of boundary fence from east to west

Near the end of the east-west fence before we started heading south

Let's cut back through the centre again

Why go down the creek line when you can go across like this

Back out on the plains. You can see the scrub in the distance

    Our bush wardrobe

Cheers after a hard day at "the office"

Now for the chili sardine entre' with beers at arms length

Sunrise..........................now this is what it's all about, don't you think?

Back at the machinery sheds before heading home

A real life Mallee Rocket Launcher

The reason for this short trip was to iron out any bugs.................

The only one found was a faulty spark plug lead

Back on the black stuff at Walkers Flat, pumping up the tyres for the brisk trip home

That looks too hard, why don't you use my electric on board pump?

At least we know where we are now

A quiet moment to enjoy the view across the Murray River

We found very little wrong with our setups and were looking forward to many new off road adventures

    Cheers

Hi MB! I keep thinking you should combine all your exploits - with the consistently fine pix - into a book. Giant blog or e-book?

At least we're assured of a stream of A1 shots for the Carpe-TDM calendar :clap

what can I say that won't sound like the cliche "nice ride, glad you had fun", but keep up the good ride reports, it's good you name the roads. This is the third or fourth one I've looked at tonite.
    read you later.

I wanna come out for a ride :cry
