I'm interested on the KLR. Would want to go hit Radical Hill, at least as a side trip.

May be going from Montezuma to Webster on either Monday or Tuesday with wifey on board our DR650 (yellow). Will be on the lookout for some wild and crazy guys slinging rocks from their knobbies. Tell me again what you ride? Will be our last trip in Colorado for the summer before heading back to purgatory (better known as Florida).

I went over Webster about 3:00. The weather was a little sketchy, so I went pretty fast. I wanted to do Redcone, but the weather kinda scared me.

I plan on taking the 950 so I'll most likely bypass Red Cone & Radical Hill.
The pace wll be fast though!

    Hey Dan,

Looks like I'm in. Scotty is interested but doesn't want to trailer his bike. So is there a head count. He doesn't want to slow the ride down on the highway..

I think youll be able to gas up in Bailey, Breck or Jefferson, so no worries.

Plus now that Acupuncture is coming w/ the 640 ADV we have a fuel supertanker along too. :lol3

I'd say no worries. HWY285 is a hughe speed trap so there is no reason to go fast.

If he's coming w/ the XR400 I might swap over to the XR650 so we can explore better.
