1 x split piston ring and a piston that's beat to s#!t by a piece of the ring that came off and tore up the side on it's way out the exhaust. I'm just glad it didn't damage the cylinder or head in the process

no shit. that's what my 380's piston looks like and my cylinder is fucked.

Reminds me of my my old kart racing days. We would seize two stroke engines on a regular basis.

A buddy had a Suzuki Samari with a two stroke motor. That SOB would go amazing places, just follow the 2-stroke smoke! We built a front wheel mount thing for his hitch and he could pull you out if your rear wheel would roll... or not. :eek1
This would be easy enough to build for rescue's such as this. Don't remember all the specifications, 39 years ago, but was a simple build.

It was real basic... I just made it from scraps around the shop. Seems there was an issue of the front fender making contact with the Suzuki tailgate but we just took'm off.
