Sadly enough, I suspect much like bikes, the easy answer is "get both" Love XM, have it in every vehicle. Have a unit that doesn't get much use (I got it for my wife, she doesn't use it much), so could transfer that subscription and not be out much, Have Sena10 headsets. Using ipods now. Need to be able to find addresses without fumbling for my blackberry Would like to use it on the KTM and the Ducati. KTM sees a lot of dirt, but even a compass would be a vast improvement over my current navigation of guessing and riding until I find something familiar. XM traffic and weather, worth it? I do like to avoid storms if possible. Very happy with google maps traffic, not happy with fumbling for the blackberry and hoping for a signal. XD-3 helmet and short/no windscreens so phone conversations are limited, but would like to see who is calling without (you guessed it) fumblling for my black berry. Labelled forest roads would likely be enough, although I would use the topo features of the Montana while hiking. I am torn, any regrets on either unit or reasons beside the obvious functionality to pick one or the other.
