    Greetings from Cork.
I'm envious....Morocco is somewhere I'd like to visit on the bike.
If you're in the Biarritz region, St Jean de Luz is a really nice little spot just outside it. Well worth a look and an overnight stay.
How many days are you allowing to get from Roscoff to the south coast of Spain ?

Hi there we are leaving cork next Saturday and arrive in Roscoff around 8 am we have the full day to to the 850KM to Biarritz the following day we head to Toledo just south of Madrid 600 Km then to Gibraltra 600 Km ish . we decided to head straight thru France on the way down .
Fortunately we both like doing big mile days 400 would be our average on our roads so hopefully it wont be too bad.

So 3 days to get there 6 in Morocco and the rest going up the east coast of Spain into Andorra and back thru central France ..

Yeah, you should be on the road for 8 am all going well. I presume you are going to take the autoroute (motorway) to Biarritz ? That is going to be a long day at over 500 miles ! Still, you'll get there faster I guess.
I found the east coast of Spain a little disappointing. But I stayed in a small place south of Tarragona called L'Ampolla that was really nice.
Looking forward to the pictures !!
    Enjoy and ride safe.

    Hiya kayakerbiker,

You need to have pics hosted on another site like smugmug or Flickr, etc. then post the link to the photo in your thread text box when creating a post.

Another option is to use Tapatalk app on smartphone or tablet and post images through that app. There is a thread here on how to post pics which explains it in good detail too.

Regards the trip, it sounds great and you will love Morocco. Plenty of ride reports on here to keep you going with ideas and places to visit for months of research.

The usual points of interest for Morocco are, the Tiz ni Ticka pass and Tiz ni Test pass over the high Atlas Mountains, Dades gorge, Torda gorge, sand dunes at Erg Chebbi. If going off road get some routes of different pistes and conditions of same before hand. If sticking to roads you will still have a blast and everywhere is well connected by decent quality road network.
Pack some anti-diahorrea meds too, these saved my ass last time!

Enjoy, looking forward to your report.

    Hi,
Roscoff to the bottom of Spain in two days can and has been done but it will envolve some major saddle time. Good luck with that section. By chance I plan to cross over the straits on the 10 th Sept Probably from Algeciras to Tanger Med .Maybe our paths could cross in Maroc ?

Lots of ideas of what to have a look at in maroc here

We're staying in Gibraltra the 10th crossing on the 11th staying near Fes that night . Looking forward to your updates too good to compare . Best of luck to ya
