I hope the next one will go just as well, going to do the D-Day thing again, likely Calais and maybe Dunkerque, Flanders Fields, and hopefully the Epinal American Cemetery this time. Meant to go to Epinal last time, but did not fit it in.

I will be leaving May 28th and coming back June 18th through Luxembourg City. Hopefully enough time to get some good riding in.

On the way back north from Lux theres a small place called Wemperhardt (i think) which has the best steak house in the world, El Toro's. its opposite a big petrol station. Not the cheapest but proper steak served and cooked properly. Worth a blow out.

Good luck with the latest trip, when are you putting that clutch in the bike???

Have fun ride safe, looking forward to the write up.

    Mick.

I was going to put a clutch in it before heading out across Russia for sure, but having put that off for a bit more, I think the clutch problem may have been in the oil we had put in it. So it is still okay at this point and doing fine. We will see what it is like this time and I will know for sure. I should have made this trip a little longer, but this is what I can do at this point, so hopefully it is enough time to do the things I want to.

Memorial Day bump. Well worth the read, as are jmead11's other ride reports in Europe.

Thanks Jeffrey for the history lessons and reminder in your ride reports of the sacrifice made by so many soldiers.
