Since I sharpie'd on vehicle wrap, my thinking was that when I get sick of it, I'll peel it off. Now I think when I retire these plastics, I need to make a big shadow box. I think it would make kind of a cool wall hangar

Not exactly a motard, but kinda like one until I complete the rebuild of mmy 81 XL600R into a "retro-motard". This is my GN400 ice bike with dual sport tires on it for the summer.
Sold it last month to buy my Sertao. It was a blast!
This bike serves one purpose and one purpose only: make you hand your license to the police.
^^^ an absolute BEAUTY of a machine, but not quiiiiiite a motard. She's a bit heavy for that
Here is my 2001 KTM 570 Supermoto I built from the frame up. I installed a Thumper Racing 570 kit.
I sandblasted and powder coated the frame black, the swingarm and side covers silver tex. Every part I maticulously labored over to recondition or put on new or like new used.
I adapted a set of KTM Duke II BBS aluminum mag wheels. I had to design and build a front axle and spacer set to accomodate the smaller front axle diameter of the Duke wheels.
It is loaded with goodies like Akrapovic full titanium exhaust, 41mm MX carb, and I built my own full street 'dual sport' kit. I put on lots of carbon fiber bits where ever I could.
I'm stapling up a Seat Concepts seat this weekend.
This is about as one-of-a-kind as a KTM gets!
This pic is a few years old, my photo buddy cut out the background.
This was on the dyno.
now thats just pure n simple sexy!!!!!!!!!!
I was going to edit my first post in this thread to add these pictures to it...but that wouldn't put this back T T T so I'll post again.
Not much left of the original 150 anymore except for the main frame, air box, 5 speed transmission, kick start, plastic and the shroud decals...
I built this one 7 years ago I think. I do miss it every once in a while.
Mine in action
Just let this one go and it wasn't easy.
