Foyer of hotel, Nelson New Zealand
Keeps the bed bugs away.
Find a motel with exterior doors on a ground floor. Those are harder to come by these days, but still lots left. Then just slip the bike in the room. Mine are always clean enough to eat off of, I'd never put a dirty scoot in my room.
Just outside San Francisco....Slept much better knowing my only transportation 1000 miles away from home was safe and secure
My bikes are dirty as hell and get ridden in every weather imaginable, and I'd rather eat off of them then some of the hotels I've stayed in before.
Near Seattle, WA

Hey the tv worked
You know it's a cheapo when the light fixture has three types of bulbs
I really enjoy my stays at these, most have their own parking garages too good place to do little repairs and such.
Some of them have some interesting furniture in the rooms too
This was the best we could do at the Roadstar Inn in Madison, WI this past weekend;yellow means cycle parking only right?
Hotel off 28 just south of Deals Gap. We nic-named this the bates motel. The old husband and wife that ran the hotel/gas station were as nice as could be but first impressions leave a mark... before they spoke I walked in to see an elderly lady with an eye patch and elderly man walk around a corner tightening up his belt.
room was clean, cant complain really.. though I did share it with a cricket I could never find...
first though was. "How many people have been murdered here and how many 70's porns were shot here as well..."
Thought that was funny..
I was in room 12. Window air conditioning units...small room, old furniture...nowhere to get ice. My friend had a half-eaten Subway sandwich left in his refrigerator. Good thing, since there was no breakfast provided. As costly as a chain, too.
Ah, well. The ride was great!
Ok, ok... only in the foyer.
