Sounds cool! That area of Arkansas is stunning, so I'm excited to check out the property--so cool it's available to ride and enjoy.

Trees that have the purple tree paint marking are PRIVATE PROPERTY and mean NO TRESPASSING. Riding the roads are fine if trees on both sides have the purple markings. If you are on a single track and see purple tree marking, you might want to rethink your actions and be alert for property owners with guns.

Be sure to pass this info to all your out of state visitors to NWA.

The purple paint thing is the same in Missouri and Kansas. At least in Kansas, I was told it also signifies to law enforcement they are allowed to come on the property to enforce no trespassing.

Of course since the Wilderness Ranch is about 2,500 acres, you can do a lot of riding without leaving the property!

Just roll on in NCJ01, and we will see you when you get here! We are 4 miles South of Hwy 21, on the County (dirt) road to Red Star. If you turn North off of Hwy 21 you are on Fire Tower Road headed to Elkhorn, If you turn South you are on a road that threads in between the Newton & Madison County line, headed to the Wilderness Rider Buffalo Ranch. The Buffalo Ranch will be the first proper pastures you come to on the right, after driving several miles thru the woods. There is a Wilderness Rider banner out at the gate. Conditions are perfect after this recent rain softened up the dirt!

Easy place to find. I rode past yesterday. The road off of 21 is marked to Red Star. They have a big sign on the open gate on the crest of a hill. If you follow the road all the way through, it puts you on 74 just outside of Kingston.
