they are not H&B....but SW-Motech(german) the model trax. They are all black aluminium+plastic on the corners outside...inside they have silicone for waterproof

They sell them unbranded since spring but due to the good price you should wait a bit....I saw some before 3-4 weeks in a store for the first time

Dow. I wrote an email to the Australian sales contact with about a page worth of questions about the TT, availability of the 2 models (as it's not listed at any dealer's site on their list), pricing..etc just to bounce it back from the address.

Looks like Guzzi Australia is just using a free website template that comes with some inbuilt email addresses and there isn't anyone on the other side :) No phone listed either, just a fax number (probably redirected straight to the bin). Ok, not complaining, it's a small company, but still, if you decide you put up a website, give it another 5 minutes to finish it or just don't do it.

If I ever get the time, I will try to talk to some dealers to figure if anyone has a clue in NSW.

I thought the Guzzi Stelvio looked a bit better in person. I sat on it at the MC Show. I don't think it had bags on it though. Early reviews compared to GS's weren't all that good but I think it'd be a good touring bike ..... as Guzzi generally are.

I liked it but didn't love it. The Aprilia Desoduro stand right across the aisle seemed more interesting. I wouldn't buy either right now.

I had the opportunity to see/sit on one at the Seattle show. Not as pretty, IMHO, as the GS, but about 14,238 times more comfortable. At least for us short-legged Hobbit-meets-Mule types. At that juncture I decided that I simply HAD to be the first kid on my block to own one, wife's opinion be damned. But, no listing on M-G's US website :huh !! So we wait....and wait.... Then again, being a proud new owner of one of BMW's illustrious new twin GS's, I'm used to waiting.

Some of us are already enjoying this bike. Note that the TT version is simply a normal Stelvio with most of the available options and slightly narrower rims in order to fit knobbies.

My local Vespa store that carries mostly scooters does have a pretty nice line of Aprilia and MotoGuzi bikes also. Its quite interesting going to a scooter store and finding some pretty high end Motorcycles too. They have a couple standard Stelvio's there that I've sat on. I like them.

That TT version is looking sweet!

Oh yeah, they just got the Desoduro in there also! :thumb

What do you think? Are you able to compare it to any of the other major adv bikes? Love it!

Part II: Among some more enthusiastic purveyors of vintage bikes, every time I brink up the M-G moniker, I get bombarded with tales of electrics, have these issues been resolved over the last 40 years?
