Well, I'm here in town, and looking forward to the track walk tomorrow afternoon. I understand from the materials we received that they want us there before 1 PM. I hope to see some fellow ADV'ers at that time!

    Varsha ? Really ?

Jlo wins it going away, Marquez bins it and gives Crutchlow second and Bradl 3rd . Spies finishes top Ducati, not so sure.

For those going this year DO NOT miss the mile !

Following my usual in depth analysis of the entire world last night I am prepared to share my knowledge....

    The M & M kid.
    Cal.
    Valentino.
A very pissed off Jorge (Mark elbowed him out of the way).
Nicky (some dirt tracking was involved).
Stefan, with the remains of Dani's fairing stuck in his tail section.
    Dani, limping with bits missing.
    A CRT!

I do have my doubts about Dani's recovery, mind you he may be sand bagging, and Jorge didn't look overly enthusiastic in the pre race interview so I wonder how fit he will be.

Ben will survive but be in 11th position. :D

You can safely place bets on these placings, guaranteed results! :freaky

Watched the little bugger come from 19th to win at Indy some time back. Gotta put my $ on him. 2 Rossi, 3 Lorenzo:clap

Couldn't you wait a day or so before destroying my illusions?

Nice write up explaining Cals' rationale for the move to Ducati, thanks. :thumbup

Yes. Sole caveat is it depends on the surface. If it's greasy, then the Hondas will struggle.

My call. MM will win Indy.
I watched him in person in Austin. He kicked butt.
I watched him on the tube in Montery. Ditto
I think he'll win the championship as well. He's a force of nature.
I'm not even a Honda fan.
    Go Nicky !

Ben .7s back from fastest Ducati is not too bad after only 45 minutes of riding in the last 3 months.

Well I'm not expecting much from Rossi on this surface.

He's not a win it or bin it type. He knows his best chance over the season is to keep it rubber side down while others chase the glory, which he's had plenty of.

In fact, I'll be watching a lot more comfortably if I can imagine Rossi is settling for third or fourth, behind Marquez, Crutchlow, and possibly one of the senior Spaniards.

I cannot imagine how it is for Pedrosa and Lorenzo, on this track given their recent history. Just what they get paid for is a complex thing, but however you'd want to describe it they'll be working for it this weekend.

Bradl I suspect will be looking at three races, not one, which means no heroics here.

My 2c? No, worth somewhat less than 1c.

But ... that's six possible contenders. Quite a season. :1drink

Lorenzo and Pedrosa won't show much until it counts. That probably means a good flyer in Q and the race. They'll be up there, though. Just not up there for the win. :deal

Any word on how Ben's Shoulder was during FP1? He is not far off the Factory Ducatis.

You were making sense until your last sentence. You'd have to be foolish to count either of them out regardless of the track.

Well, if MM falls or has a mechanical, then they could win. :D

I'm serious. The kid has a touch for that place. Just wait and see.

I know it's only the first practice, but Marquez has been showing a devastating combination of speed and consistency this year, especially for a wild rookie, and I think plenty of people are nervous about seeing him fast right off the bat this weekend at Indy.

"It's great to be able to race with both arms again". Said he felt better than he has since last year. I think he's at full fitness again.
