What a travesty. Low point for Moto GP.

Nothing good about that abomination of a race.

I rekon the reason MM fucked up was cause he planed to go in after 99 but even Lorenzo waited and pushed 1 more to the end, maybe ...anyhow GREAT race best for 2013 for me.

    Yeah, Spa '89-esque.

Marquez and Pedrosa might be said to have screwed up, but the coming together of Lorenzo and Marquez at that speed was a travesty.

Should be no points awarded for that race. Ban Bridgestone, bring back Michelin or bring in Pirelli.

93 failed to meet the pit window of lap 9 or 10, came in lap 11, black flag a couple of laps later.

That contact between them on pit out, what broke off one of the bikes? Could see it in the replays, since 93 never really got up to speed after that, he lose a peg or something?

Pitting didn't seem like a bad idea on paper, they do it all the time with white flag races, but it sure didn't work out well today.

Classic young blood error on Marquez's behalf . he was under immense pressure from himself and the whole setup out there .THAT IS RACING FOLKS.
marquez is strong and will take the title for sure , but that race will be unforgettable.

The clash between Marquez and Lorenzo was almost a tragedy. Dorna is lucky, but they should be ashamed.

    *******

Jorge absolutely deserves the win, but Marquez's mistake wasn't his own.

How so? I mean, if the team put out wrong information on the board, or if Marquez misunderstood it, there's no excuse.

SportTV said it was JL's left boot toe slider, but looked maybe too big to be that.

Easy to say now, but I still think Repsol should have known MM is a 20 yr old hothead, and once the lights go out, he will only have victory in mind. Now he should have counted the laps first, and worry about his race position second. Or maybe they did instruct him, but he forgot....

Racing is such a boiling pot of dynamics , F1 and Motogp are constantly closing the window down on these dynamics and in turn dumbing it down. Today was a prime example of what reality can bring back..... the unknown ......a shake up.......an ADVENTURE.
Roll on fellas, moteigi next round.

    My favorite won....Adventure!!!!

Not making excuses for anybody. MM's team made the mistake, but the cause is really down to the tire situation, and Dorna making last minute rules with a stick in the dirt.

There's no denying the tyre thing was an absolute fiasco. Even if the pit stops hadn't had such a massive impact on the championship.

Would be interesting to know, what exactly did MM´s pit board show, when he completed lap 9.

Ok mm and or team made a mistake but why a disqualification.why not just a ride through? That was the penalty proposed for extra laps wasnt it?
