If this was one of Yamaha's strongest tracks(?), they should be worried.

JLo-Vale 3-0, at three very different tracks, too, wonder what Rossi is thinking now. "I should ride faster", probably :lol3

The problems appear to be tire related due to the temperature. Pedrosa and Marquez don't weigh very much and that seemed to help with front tire life here.

Maybe they should consider renaming that last corner. :D

think Herve can find a way to get out from under Smith and get someone worthy on that second bike

I think Rossi and Cal should switch rides.

What a race! Marquez on Rossi and Jorge - kid has huge balls.

Marquez today rode almost exactly like I expected Rossi to ride. Ironic, that the showdown with JLo had to come down to that very same corner, where Rossi once leaned on Gibernau (...well, not AS ironic as that corner's new name :lol3 !!)

MM's first 3 races: 3rd 1st 2nd, and he now takes the championship lead. Seems like HRC knew very well, who they should put on Stoner's ex-bike. And when the kid REALLY gets familiar with that bike, he'll just disappear.

MM's move on JLo was within the bounds of racing, but just barely.
Put in context with his historical penchant for recklessness, I'm a bit concerned.

Burgess told a journalist friend of mine: "Jorge's the lead rider at Yamaha, and at this moment of time, he's faster than us. At 34, Valentino's towards the end of his career. Jorge has taken getting the balance in the bike to a different level, he's amazingly fast at a very high lean angle."

I'm not sure Rossi is going to be able to match the pace of the top three.

You know the higher ups at Ducati are scratching their heads thinking, hum, I wonder if Marquez can ride this thing..

I have been looking forward to the start of this season to see how Rossi goes now that he's back on a competitive bike. I agree, so far, it looks like he isn't going to be a contender for the top 3. It's a long season though...

Marquez is charging into the MotoGP arena on fire!

More amusing was JLo's above normal amount of congratulating Dani on the podium.

As a Pedrosa fan boy I'll be happy to see JLo and MM duke it out all year. For second place.

It´s just 3 races in, Rossi did well in Qatar, not very well in Texas, and today I guess was sort of in-the-middle. Lorenzo didn´t have the race pace, that he was expected to have, either. I wouldn´t count Rossi out just yet, he´s fast but maybe still needs to fine-tune his setup a bit, before everything starts to click. Is it really a surprise he can´t match JLo´s speed right away?

I bet that came from the way Dani passed in contrast to his team mate.

At this point in time, 99 and 26 trust each other. 93 is known for punting people, as he's keen to show.

I think it's time Marquez had a nickname.

    He is henceforth: Bambam. :pope

Rossi was behind in points in 08 up to Laguna, and the infamous Laguna pass on Stoner moved him closer in points but not ahead. It did give him the psychological advantage, and he went on to win the season.

We fans are an impatient bunch, but so far, he looks like the slowest of the aliens. Time will tell. I look forward to Lemans and Mugello to work in his favor.
