    Hello CJ,

Great to hear that healing has some progress. I realy miss your adveture and writing stile.
Sorry to hear that healing is working so slow. But take your time. It’s no fun to catch more damage when you still have metal in your bones. This can result in dramatic injuries.

So be a little patience until the metals gets out - and then hit the road again. Stories worth telling are out there.

Believe me... a ride on the main highway to Magadan has nothing on what you two guys have done. It really is not about the destination. You can ride a goldwing or a c90 across Russia ... but the adventure received would be the tiniest fraction of what you guys have done. Its really not the destination.

In 2016 the Mavericks had an enforced three week pitstop delay with us in the UK ( documented earlier in the report ) and it was great to see how they think and work through problems together. A good partnership. And great guys - you'd love them on your side in a crisis.

Thanks for the fantastic ADVENTURE, it was what my dreams are made of! This past September 23rd, I broke my fibula on a Enduro/DualSport ride. Six weeks with a cast and six with a boot, it was very slow healing.

Ride on my friends and may you have a prosperous safe New Year!

Wow... what a trip! I thought I had some good adventures but you guys nailed it all! 2 weeks later i've finally finished reading your RR. Sorry to hear the ending was a painful one but I'm sure you'll be back again or off on another adventure and I can't wait to read all about it. Great to see the WRR performing as well as it did. I have a 2014 and i've only had one trip to Moab on it. Off to Baja with it in 2 weeks so i'm looking forward to seeing how it does for 2 weeks off road. Beers next time i'm out West. :thumb:thumb

What is going on nowadays in the lives of the MotoMavericks? Interested to hear how everything is going after the trip! Still planning on continuing on? Saving up the moula for the next leg?

I too have been wondering about what you guys are up to. I just got around to watching Walter's sibirsky extreme videos on YouTube and it got me thinking about this thread.

This is amazing. Incredible photos, narrative and some stories that so few people can grow old and tell others - a true adventure.
Thanks so much for sharing. There's so much out there to explore and you've opened a whole new world of possibilities for others, including me, to get out and see first-hand.
