Sorry to hear about this rider & the loss of your pal Unaweep.
When I saw the bike was an XR setup for adv type riding I was afraid of who might have been on board and that they might have connections here. My condolences to the family and friends of this individual.
This is really sad. Then when one takes into account the really bad luck that has fallen on that family, this whole thing it even sadder.
My condolence to the riders friends and family.
Ride safe people.
My condolences Jim, tragic.
So sad. Sometimes tragedy seems to hit families in multiplicity and sadness. Sorry for loss of your bud.
Mr. Unaweep, my thoughts and prayers to you and the family.
So sorry to read this Jim.
My condolences to all of his friends and family.
I am sorry for your loss. I had been watching the news reports and this thread wondering if this might have been a good friend of mine. I was too afraid to call him and find out first hand. I was in the area today to visit the site and noticed someone had put some flowers where the accident happened. If you want to talk, I am available and lunch is on me.
Praying for you and the rest of his family and friends!!
I'm sorry, Unaweep. His family has been through so much.
A very sad situation indeed. My thoughts, my prayers are with the family and friends.......
Sorry to hear about this...
To the Mod who took action- Thank you. And, thank you for cleaning up my potty mouthed, impulsive response to what obviously upset me. I should not have reacted as such. My emotions were pretty raw. I apologize to the Rockies forum for using such vulgar language.
And, I thank all of you for your kind words and compassion. Dave's sister told me he was cremated and a service will be held Thursday at Callahan Edfast in GJ. The family is coping about as well as can be expected.
Ride Safe, folks.
Hang tough buddy, we all understand how you felt.
No apology necessary, the comment that you reacted to was WAY out of line, and deserved your response.
Sorry to hear about your buddy, hang in there, and know that the Rockies ADV community has you and your buddy Dave in our thoughts and prayers.....
Heres the Denver guys Facebook page. Nice posted memories. Looked like a pretty happy guy. Tragic. Bums me out.
Sorry to hear about this Jim, it's sad, take care.
