    After living next door to this guy for 15 years I finaly got him to part with two of these.
    2 B50's
    1 AJS

    Completely exposed to the elements, time did not wear well on them!

    After letting them sit at my house a year or 2, (no harm done), it was time to salvage what could be salvged.
    The rust buket video;

    <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/mUWJB7HxtsU?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/mUWJB7HxtsU?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

    There's one spot in this video, (6 min 26 sec), that gives you a glimpse of a filled combustion chamber...filled with rust! After pulling off the head on the one that sat with out a carb I found it was full...I mean full!
    That one was so frozen up. I had to use the hot oil trick and a splitting maul to free the jug from the slug.

    Here is an entry and some pics from a Ride Report made last year on a mechanically (and emotionally) challenging trip to Colorado. We came upon this place in Ft. Collins because we sought wisdom from a legendary Beemer guy who worked there, "Whif."

    "How does THY garden grow? Ray's was a treasure trove of "old school" rides that had us reminiscing a lot. You want parts? Rays has parts. These photos are not meant to be be disparaging. It made me think of the piles of '67 305 Honda parts that once graced my fiance's living room (and she married me anyways). This place was great and when people showed up, they were actually happy to come to work on a Monday morning! Some nice iron was wheeled out of the shop to make room for the day's repairs."

    The RR it comes from has us responding more philosophical than mechanical as the woes piled up; anyone interested can check out: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=494900
