Cool bikes and amazing photos...
A day at the office.
Found some more...
R75/5 in the Virgina Piedmont; horse country. Though truth be told, I prefer the mechanical kind . . .
the cognoscenti will probably note that the gas tank is from a /7 . . .
I won't hold it against you. I've got r90s heads and carbs on mine. Nice bike and photo :)
Short wheel base or long?
Short, built September '72.
So you've still got the original cylinders, just new heads?
I really enjoy riding the old girl, but sure would like a better front brake . . . . Even with new shoes stopping is below marginal. :eek1
Mine started life as a shorty, but when my dad gave it me on my 15th, we converted it to lwb. Handles a good bit better in my personal opinion. It's got the r90S cylinders, heads, and carbs! It's noticeably punchier than it was stock. I've had it for 17 years now. Couldn't dream of giving her up! I do heartily agree with you on the front brake. Mine is pretty weak as well, though it's acceptable when you get it set well enough. I've often considered converting over to disc, but I really like it the way it is :)
One of our fellow inmates, Anticyclone, had his first child 2 weeks ago. I somehow managed to get them to let me do the newborn fotos :huh
I think you'll approve
And a more normal one for prosperity sake.
