Thought it'd be fun to tell an adventure motorcycling story with light painting...

I respectfully submit that 90% of the road users here are unlicensed and untrained and far more hazardous than myself. Trust me, best to get around and away from them.

    And splitting is legal here.

    Anyhow, carry on.

FWIW, this looks like pretty normal urban SE Asia riding to me! :muutt

The differences between that and riding in heavy urban traffic in the USA are amazing... although a bit chaotic, the traffic is flowing, with only a few negligible exceptions. The near-total lack of signage and traffic signals keeps it flowing nicely. Each potential conflict is just sorted out on the fly, with turn signals used when absolutely necessary. I see a lot of really good driving and riding here; very sensible. I didn't notice a lot of horn-honking, either. The sheer number of two-wheel machines helps, too.
I think I could grow to like this very quickly.
Over here, heavy urban traffic consists of crawling, painfully, in dense clumps from one red light or stop sign to the next. It's maddening, and it brings out the worst in people.

Some people can flip their bikes, some can ghost ride them, some can do flip turns.... but all at once?

    Safety Nazis look away.

What do you do when the roads are empty besides a single lonely Prius ruining your twisty road fun and you hit one of the only passing zones for 10+ miles? Let 'er eat.
