That's some awesome looking trails. I've got to get up there and ride some of that ! ! !
Riding up the Hassayampa river to a box canyon and visit a cool little slot canyon.
I can't remember if I said anything but it must have been nice to slash threw the water on a hot summers day!
We recently finished Colorado loop and I put the highlights in this video.
Sand riding with my son last weekend:
This was earlier this year and also where I got the profile pic from! With snow from high elevation and water crossings mud and more!
MOTOZ Tractionator desert >> REVIEW [KTM 990R adv]
do you find peace while riding?
nice series of videos, very clear approach, good style of teaching
A joke video I made for a couple buddies who couldn't make a Utah trip. My favorite Belushi clip is part of it.
My son James after becoming a paraplegic in a motorcycle accident, had a long battle with the establishment here in Australia trying to get full access to ride a Canam Quad on the road and in the bush, he couldn't beat them but now he has, enter the Africa Twin DCT.
James is back on two wheels with full freedom to ride anywhere and he made all the mods himself.
If anyone wants to see how a departure day looks like to continue rtw travel, this is it. Packing after over a year of riding and living in New Zealand. Getting back on the road on a motorcycle which I've spent rebuilding for over half a year. Soon we'll fly to South America.
That is beyond awesome! I couldn't stop smiling the whole way through.
Does he have plans to create a way to take his chair with him?
You need to cross post this over to The Thread of Awesome. Much respect to him for not giving up and doing what he loves.
Very inspirational! Congratulations to your son for overcoming those obstacles. I work with people with "disabilities" and can't wait to show them this video (if i can have your permission to do so). Also, I have a friend who was a downhill MTB racer who became paraplegic after a crash, then later returned to the mountains on a custom-built off-road downhill racing wheelchair; not on 2 wheels, but he hauled ass on that thing and rode it down Black Diamond trails that I would not dare try on my MTB!
Yep no worries anyone can share.
if you have never seen what these para downhill guys can do, check out this video (not my friend):
This area is now on fire, at least I got to see it. Bearskin fire Idaho
Filmed this over the last two rides in the North Cascades of Washington State
