The above would tell me you would be the LAST person bitching about how long it is taking Motus to produce product. Making something from nothing has a million things you didn't think of...they tend to bite you in the ass at the worst times. You know this, but still ask the questions you asked?

Maybe they hype did exactly what it is supposed to do...bring hype to the name, get people interested, and maybe get some investors.

I'm not really bitching about how long it's taking them, but more wondering if they will indeed get some bikes out.

Like the rest of us in this thread, I'm not privy to any inside info. I've had some contact with them via email and been left wondering where their priorities are. At times I have wondered if they plan on making big money on the engine sales and the bikes are secondary to that.

When you only have three SKUs, in terms of end products, it does simplify things a little. Start up inventory is a huge investment, even with Just In Time and LEAN working for you in today's mfg environment.

Maybe what Motus is Not doing is expending energy playing around with the press, and focusing on the job at hand.

Is there an address to the factory? I might be riding by Birmingham in a day or so and would like to take a picture.

Email Lee or Brian and ask for a tour. They have been very supportive with getting back to the interested riders. I haven't talked with them in awhile, but they were pretty responsive when they were not on tour.

Visit with an open mind and you might be surprised with what you really see.

I just emailed them through their website. I will be in Birmingham tomorrow so that is extremely short notice. They likely won't even see the email before tomorrow and I said that in my email. Either way, I wish them the best.

I received two very nice personal emails from Lee. Unfortunately they had the day planned- as I expected. I'm impressed that he would get back to me so quickly. He seems very polite and professional. I look forward to seeing one for real some day. I love the LS series of engines that this is based off of. I've had one for 9 years and can tell you that old school pushrod engines can be just as fun as DOHC and other "high tech" bits.

A few years back there was one on display at Barber Motorsport Museum. Sooooo nice and way ahead of it's time.

...I saw the Morbidelli at Barber. I remember reading about it in the bike mags and thinking it was super cool.

When I saw the real thing at Barber, I thought it was one of the ugliest things i have ever seen.

The engine was beautiful, but the bike fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

Nope. Most of their 'Dealers' don't even have Motus listed or mentioned on their web sites. I did find one CA dealer that has them listed and shows prices for both the MST and MST-R, but only has a stock photo and request a quote.

This one has both Motus and Norton listed, but zero info on either. :lol3
    RPM Cycle

Although Motus says Spring/Summer deliver for 2013 models, and dealerships are taking reservations, not one of the dealers listed on their web site shows any indication of taking reservations. If the mention Motus at all. One just links back to Motus's web site, with zero other mention of Motus.

Wouldn't you think that if you knew you were getting some bikes, you'd advertise the fact?
