IMHO the main attraction to this bike is the motor.
Other than that...30K+ for a sports/tourer with chain drive and no ABS is a non starter.

That's great, 'cos they're only building 300.

You could take that to the limit and receive 900 lbs of iron ore and bauxite.

my friend, that is because you havent sat on the thing or heard it run. It is so light and well balanced it feels like you are sitting on a dirt bike. Yeah, yeah, yeah, its a ton of money and I will never own one. But I sure would like to. :freaky

In truth, I would sure like to own one also.
I have heard it run on YouTube....I would imagine not NEARLY as nice as in person. As far as chain drive, well my bike (CBF1000) is chain and it's not so bad...needs ABS for sure.
Too bad it will likely remain a niche bike, because it sure is gorgeous, but too spendy for most of us .
That engine is the neatest thing I have seen in a bike in years!:evil

Well, in CASE you didn't know, the factory is in Racine Wisconsin and I believe there is also one in NEW HOLLAND. Honestly, from what I hear, they're no worse than any other brand. Add tractor manufacturing to the list of things that should never be seen.

My cousin and I prepped/built crated swathers one summer for an implement dealer. No I wouldn't want to have bought one we put together. They were a b!tch as things barely lined up. We were thrilled when the actual mechanics would throw us an air hose and we could use their air guns. I bet some of those wheels are STILL on those swathers, they are never coming off and that was over 30 years ago. :freaky

    The caption reads: "Hello. I'm a 2014 Motus MST-R."

I like it. A lot. But curious about final spec.

I like the looks of it even though I'm the guy who doesn't like the looks of most modern bikes. I would love to ride one.

Sorry to disagree, but I don't find it visually appealing. The fairing looks odd and the rear fender(?) looks very far out there, almost like it was an afterthought.

Looks good to me, hope that I can afford one someday.

Looks like frame and an engine with a bunch of aftermarket parts bolted to it.

And the best part is the frame and engine on display. Show me one other modern bike that show cases it's motor so well. I love the Ducati Multistrada, but cripes, is there a motor in there somewhere? Love the look of the MST. :clap
