I'm moving from the Pacific Northwest back to Florida at the end of the month. I'm from the Vero Beach and not real familiar with the panhandle area although from what I've seen it's beautiful. Wide open, no crowds, lots of woods, and great seafood. Are there any regular ADV meet ups in the area? Bike nights? Rides? BBQ? tech days? BS sessions?

That is a nice area but somewhat secluded. There was a time when you could ride the roads north of 98 in St. Teresa but them days are over. The best thing you could do is hang around Carrabelle and see who shows up at Two Al's for lunch. Maybe someone else has better info?

We do a campout in apalachicola national forest early November each year. Some rumbling among us of doing a second one at some point. Also do one about 90 miles away in Osceola National Forest during February.

No "regular" riding groups, though quite a few of us go out in the forest. I try and ride my street bike as much as possible, but it's dirt riding season for me now.

PM me if you're looking for a riding buddy when you get here. Sure we can get a group together for a good ride.

ANF campout is usually in the first weekend in December every year. Sometimes I host a miserable one in the summer. TONS of places to ride in the ANF, and you'll never see it all.

Hey, Steve. Had fun riding with you Thursday. Man those burgers sure looked better than sub were downing lol. Hope you can ride with us more often. We usually go every Saturday and occasionally during the week.
By the way, this is the old DR 650 guy.

Thanks for the invite. Knowing that there are great areas right our my back door is great. Give me a call/text next time you're going.
