I am still in and meeting you in Fitzwilliam at 8am. Rouge Ranger and I will probably just share a tent as we usually do at the rallies. Unless he really doesn't want to.

I'm in Henry, will meet you guys on the North end of Sandwich Notch Road and ride the rest of way with you cats. Pilothouse can give me a jingle with your estimated eta from along the way and I'll be there. I will share a tent with him as well, since he made the offer. Good to have an ADV rider in the family!:super:super Route looks good and any bike should be able to do the Mt Clinton Jefferson Notch stuff unless it pours rain. We can also sneak across the Pinkham B Road of of Route 2 in Randolph in the early morning if you like which dumps you out on Route 16 at Dolly Copp Campground a couple of miles from the Auto Road.

8:15? We are leaving Fitzwilliam around that time, so I don't think we'll hit Henniker-Warner until about 3 hrs later....

I think it would be best exchanging cell numbers via PM and us calling the rest along the way. Send me your number and let me know how long in advance I should call you to get to the meeting spot.

As for the nice lady, last year we had four tents on one site????

I've been following along quietly and wanted to say that I'm looking forward to meeting you all at the Auto Road the morning of the 30th and having a nice breakfast after. While I would love to see a 2-up FJR and Valkyrie off-road, I have other obligations Saturday.

Not looking good for me. My boss emailed and may be up. If he does, then I can't leave.
Just go ahead and count me out:cry
Sorry, I have it pretty easy but I am in the position of being on call so that is the way it works out. Keep me posted on the dirty ride Henry. I'm getting the XR all tweaked up.

    In or out?, as requested......

In for the ride north, maybe for the 3 AM ride up M.W. (I need my beauty sleep). Maybe for the ride south....I'd like to spend a few days to explore up north... Success Pond Rd., East Inlet Rd., Wherethefugawi Rd. :D

I seem to find the last road on your list almost every week. Apparently, it stretches from south to north, and tends to run east to west at random points as well.

I'm looking to tag along on the climb if you're game... can't get out of work Friday though so no camping - but I'll ride up from CT in time to meet you in the lineup if thats OK? 3am-ish? :eek1 Shouldn't be too hard to find a lineup of ADVers in the dark waiting in the queue

No worries unless I tag me a swamp donkey in the dark.

I only need the tiniest shred of an excuse to hit up NH and I've never hit the auto-road. I've hiked several times but this will be a 1st.

How deep in CT are you and what are you riding?

You could always try to make it to meet us at lunch in NH (if you hit the superslab, you'll make it).

Hey guys, how about setting up a lunch spot somewhere along the way?

Should we play it by ear, or should we plan on say, Ashland? - seems like 1/2 way up.

Did you have a place in mind? I only know of a DK and a Common Man in Ashland.

I just went to Common Man in Lincoln this weekend with wifey the night before we backpacked up on Mt. Lafayette. Awesome dinner and awesome hike the next 2 days.

It is looking good for me once again. Sorry. I have the kind of job where I just don't plan much because of it.
I guess I better reserve my own site if I can.
What's the name of the campground?

    Kdennan,
I have a site, with three openings left, reserved already. You are welcome to one of the slots. I have the same type of job as you, so if you can't make it last minute you won't be out any money.

I'd be coming up from Hartford ... and wouldn't be able to leave until 8 or 9pm Friday so it would be straight to the mountain.

I'll be on my R12R - shouldn't be any issue on the autoroad

Are you thinking we are going up the auto road on Saturday? The ride up the auto road is for Sunday. And a few of us are meeting up in Fitzwilliam on Saturday at 8am to ride up to the campground.

    Bingo!
yup... apparently I've been working off the wrong date. Thinking the ride was Saturday :doh

This is now looking even better. Maybe I can join up at lunch-ish Saturday? Possibly Fitzwilliam then for the ride up too - let me see about a place to stay - have friends in the area and might couch it instead of bringing camping gear...
