I am planning early Friday morning. You need help or something else?
Can always use help marking.
Roswell results and year end point totals are now on the web site www.mtwestvintagetrials.org
Dan has emailed a survey to all on our email list. We would appreciate your response to help us improve for next year. If you rode one of our events last year and did not get the email PM me with your email address and I will send you the survey.
Time to start working on our 2014 schedule. Should have it finalized by next week. Will be returning to most of our normal venues, working on one new site, more on that later.
Our first event will be April 26/27 at San Ysidro, NM. Thanks Bob & Chris for TM.
Thanks to all that completed the survey, really great input, helps a lot in keeping the board on track. We do this for one reason, the love of vintage trials.

I sure had fun at the Cleveland, OK event last year. It was nice to have a class for the air cooled mono Fantic to plug into. There are bunch of these neither vintage and neither modern bikes out there gathering cobwebs. Perhaps a marketing effort would pull some cobwebbed riders out too?
The A lines were a curious mix of quite easy with some challenging bits. Nothing scary, and quite fun.
After what little time I have to do modern trials, there isn't much time left, but you've piqued my interest.
Was good to meet you and your wife at the Cleveland event. I had lots of fun setting the sections in the rain, something this old desert rat is not use to. Had the rain continued thru the weekend the section would have been a bit more challenging. Hope the new ITSA Southwest Vintage Assoc. keeps using that venue, would love to come to ride and not work.
Joe's got a great place in the NE part of OK. Don't forget about my Oklahoma venue, Buffalo Dream Ranch. I'm ~4 hours closer to Alamogordo, and quite a bit dryer . Please come set sections. Maybe it will rain for once!
Makes me want to go riding jut looking at that!
Great looking area, Been working on Bill T to push the vintage group to start a series. OK is a bit out of our area. Would love to come for a SW event though.
2014 Schedule is now on post # 1.
The schedule has been updated rounds 11 & 12, Sep 20 & 21 will be at Tucker Ranch, Cotopaxi, CO.
Thanks for that John. Everything looking good for our first event?
Permits are signed & insurance done. Looking forward to it.
Rounds ! & 2 @ San Ysidro, NM, next weekend. info and directions on our web site www.mtwestvintagetrials.org Hope to see everyone out for what will be a great event.
Work on the 2014 MWVTA has....
You wanted it? Well, you got it. Experts only!!
All this was just Saturday. After ribboning 4 sections, it was time to go to work. The rain was moving in, so better split some firewood -
This is real Trials. A beer, an axe, and a Pablo Cruise T-shirt!!!
The rain started right about dinnertime, with all the ribbon work done -
but did not spoil our Trials dinner. Chili dogs, courtesy of Miss Bitters!
Dinner done, rain gone, it was time for Big Stories around the fire.
Once again, this is real Trials. Friends around the campfire, in a firepit made from an old 55-gallon drum of Honda GN2 oil, drinking beer and telling old Trials stories, wearing jackets bearing allegiance to motorcycle manufactures that maybe only about 1% of the American Motorcycling Public will ever recognize -
Next morning, back to work!
And at the end of the day, the BS session is in full swing!
Our season opener is next weekend. Who's in??
Love San Yo, Great sections, Now that the 80 boys have moved up to expert I see you have tailored the sections just for them.
9 Sections set for Saturday. (Hopefully Ron S. will find #10) About a 3 mile loop, mainly single track.
